catch up days

Today should be one of the biggest 'catching up' days i've been to since february. And it was all unexpected. I bummed around with dear Betty (the only one that goes to school nowadays) and went shopping. We did a great amount of walking around Sydney today, from Glebe to Town Hall back to Central, the back to Town Hall and so on and so forth. Met up with Michael Tsai at Market City Galaxy, and Johnny was also there. Michael didn't give me my tie back, so instead i took Johnny's senior tie. T_T
Ate lunch with them, and those little bitches led us off to Central station and ran off. Betty and i ended up going back to look at DVDs because she is so obssessed with them. Bumped into Wayne, Burke and Samantha and met Oliver and a Kevin along the way :) They just finished a session of Karaoke and yeah. They went off to eat, so Betty stayed with us until they decided to go K yet again. Hahaha... Awesome day in general; Had a good nice talk with samantha on the train home and it made me realise some things :)
Today i learnt that change is inevitable, but whether it is for better or for worse, it really does depend on the person's own choice of path. Of course there'll be those obstacles along the road that might inflict a perceptive into the person and influence them to act one way or another. It all depends on the reaction of the person to each obstacle they face. Overall, we learn from our mistakes and sometimes it takes more than once to get it right. Wayne told me about how his perception of me had changed when he heard something about me and a few wrongdoings. That made me realise how important it is to act with dignity and self-respect because these things affect how people see you, especially the ones that really care about you (i.e. friends and family). It never occurred to me how much of an impact one little action could make. Some may perceive you as one of immorality and chaos, but it really is down to those who know you well that really care about you. It doesn't matter who you associate with, or how you want to present yourself to the community - but at the end of the day, it always springs back to how you act towards other people, primarily to your friends.
Today really opened my eyes as to the real meaning of friendship. This might sound strange to people, but a good example is Wayne and I. We'd stopped talking for such a long period of time due to whatever reasons, and we understood each other pretty well before that time. And after that looooooongass break of a friendship, we still see each other as the same old people we knew back in year 8. Its funny how these things work. But friendship really isn't something that should be thrown around so easily, because friends are what we'll eventually be left with once we grow independent and stuff. Therefore, cherish your friendships mangz! Don't be stupid! :)
