What can i say? 2008 will be a hectic year, especially for the class of '08! But first let me recap my close-to-perfect NYE.

I couldn't believe it, time flies so fast. I spent the night before NYE tossing and turning in my hot stuffy bed because of the excitement! I place my lack of sleep at fault for my horrendous appearance on the day, puffy eyes, dark circles and all.

I caught the 11:50 train with my sister from Campsie to Town Hall. It was quite an interesting ride, as we were going to sit in the lower deck but it renched of stale piss or hobo sweat so i complained to my sister and we moved up back into the cabin where the seats faced opposite each other. There was this couple across from us doing strange things, and the girl looked so strange so we decided to type in the messages on our phone in coded cantonese Pinyin. Once we got around the city circle and all the way to Town Hall, my sister went to meet up with cousins and i went the other way to do who knows what with god knows who. LOL Jokes. I went shopping around knowing that i was about half an hour early.

Lets not talk about the beginning of that because i'd rather not contaminate my blog with common hatred issues with ex-boyfriends. But all i want to say is, i don't want to be blamed for not picking up my phone, and you alone would know why - pending the more than few calls i'd given you after waiting half an hour. It was just a bit ridiculous that someone i thought i could trust would just toy me like that. I guess sometimes, its better not to be too nice to people who don't truly deserve your sincerity. But i do thank Darren and Tim for waiting with me, .. only because they were waiting for Marcus! HAHA. But it figured out that they were also joining the group i was joining.

So after half an hour of waiting, which i thought was a bit too long 8-), i decided to call Burke because Darren and stuff were going to Chinese Gardens (which i thought was a bit strange of a place to meet). We all walked over to Darling Harbour and i sat on a bench gazing up at the big ferris wheel, half day-dreaming about how one day i'll go on it :) and see Sydneyyy with good friends ! Zack and Burke came and found me, and shortly after that Marcus, Darren and Tim came and i was surprised because i didn't know they were joining us! Some kids in their underwear were swimming in the water fountain which smells heavily of chlorine. Not very sightly but the kids were cute :).

Shortly after, Iris and Mish and two other guys :( i forgot their names, joined us at Darling Harbour because they'd went pool somewhere there. We took a few tourist-like photos :) with Burke's awesome white camera at the fountains. Iris and Mish were a bit hungry and Zack and the guys wanted to go shopping(?) A little un-guyish of them, but shopping is awesome :P. We wanted to eat at a Japanese place but it had a "sorry we are closed on ...." sign on the lift. So we went to Capitol and i ordered a green tea ice cream, which may i proclaim.. was blissful :). The crunchy cereal bran on the bottom of the dish mad everything that tiny bit more delightful. When i went downstairs to the toilet, i recalled a horrible story about how a girl got raped in one of the downstairs toilets so i hurriedly finished my business and washed my hands. There was a turn in the stairs, and i'd just wanted to get out of their quickly so i part powerwalked up the stairs.. and Burke the bum decided to BOO! me. -_-

Zack and the guys came to Captiol to find us, and we all had to make a decision between a Korean chillout cafe, and a HK chillout cafe and we all chose the HK one in chinatown which had Mahjong. We played for quite a long time.. about 3 hours? LOL i left my phone in my bag so i didn't know that Ronald had msg'd me telling me that they were at K! We all decided to split up and some had left at 6PM to trek back to Campsie for Philip's party where i heard ;) some people got quite smashed. Burke, Sherman and I went to Town Hall Maccas to meet up with Oliver and a saw a few familiar faces along the way too, (i.e. Wang, Derek and can't remember O_o') Saw Stephan and Jenny walk by, i didn't know where they were going but yeh ^^

Ctee had the opportunity to come out for the 9PM fireworks and i'm glad she called me because :) to be honest, this year's "best ever NewYear fireworks" were quite disappointing. In contrast to the 9PM fireworks, which were visually alluring :) if i was a bird, i'd fly towards them despite the loud, erratic cracks and bangs. My favourite firework formation was the sparkly fairy dust-looking stuff that made crackly sounds!

Bummed around at Maccas for a while, and .. to be honest :D i can't be bothered blogging anymore!
