“baby you're the best i ever had”

Today was the release day of class of 08's HSC results. I'm sure the other 68 000 students whom sat the HSC with me were just as nervous as i am in the early morning. I attempted to stay awake and pull an all nighter until 6am to check my results but me being the lazy one i am, i decided to go to bed at around 2.30am hahaha. Less talk about the HSC for now, i want to tell you about the two movies i watched in the past two days.

I watched Quarantine yesterday with Burke/Mish/Carmen, and despite everyone claiming it a 'shit movie'... i actually didn't mind it. The only disappointment was the way it was filmed, i know it was a documentary-type film but the way we as the audience viewed the movie somewhat gave me motion sickness. The shot would dart across the screen and it made me dizzy. The ending was disappointing but the climax was pretty much throughout the whole movie. I've never had a great liking for bad endings so thumbs down to that. Many people were laughing at various scenes because the girl was breathing funny hahaha. Overall, i'd give it a good generous 3.5 out of 5 stars losing out on the stars from the way they filmed the actual movie and the shit ending. There were cheap thrills here and there, just the way i like it. I may have enjoyed Saw V more though... hahaha!

Today I fell in love all over again. I watched Twilight with Ctee and Betty and honestly, either its because i have low standards or people have too high standards. I was told that Twilight was also an unworthy movie, but i've got to admit that i loved every bit of the movie. I'm so compelled to buy the books right now. Edward Cullen is the sexiest vampire i've ever seen... and also the cutest boyfriend he'd make. That jawline of his is to-die-for, oh my god seriously Edward Cullen sets the standards for the next boyfriend i will have. Hahaha, but apart from the perving on the main character of the movie, i was pretty annoyed with the two girls that sat to my right. The girl sitting in the next seat to the right kept talking throughout the whole entire fucking movie. She'd squeal and talk to her friend (possibly about how hot Robert Pattinson is) and whenever Edward made an appearance she'd scream and fan herself like he's burning her with his on-screen hotness. Anyways yeh the actual movie was pretty awesome! The plot flowed right through and I can't wait to read the book.. Now if only a vampire boy would sweep me off my feet hahaha! <3 I believe this movie deserves the 5 out of 5 (:

Apart from my outings to the cinemas, i've been contemplating my HSC results which, mind you, were not as bad as i thought they'd be. This morning i slept through my alarm that went off at 6am, and didn't wake up until about 6:45am when Phil called me to ask how i went. Talked for about 50 mins and calculated his UAI estimate because he had no keyboard hahaha. Prior to receiving the results, i was seriously expecting band 4s and band 3s but luckily enough its better than what i'd expected. I know its not the best but i'm satisfied with my marks. Now to face the family friends and their ever-irritating interrogation of my results and their bragging blahblahblah *pretends to block ears with fingers*. Tomorrow i'll be receiving my UAI, my ticket into uni... i'm relatively scared but not as scared as i was last night.
