This reminded me of you :D except, I just need to cross out 'seeking' and change it to 'found', as well as 'must' to 'because you (might)'

Apologies for my lack of blogging... albeit not knowing who I'm apologising to. It's too laaate to 'pologise~ Hahaha... doo doo doo... Uhm so. Yeh. I don't know why I'm apologising :( But I'm sort of kind of weird.

^ That was because you keep asking me :) HAHAHA.

anyways... on to the serious stuff i feel like discussing. (fck i wish i put more effort into school work... if only i could make blogging into a career, but i'm so bleak, i'd never be able to make a living out of it)

Anyhow, my mother brought to my attention about the recent news headline about the girl who was murdered preceding a meet up with someone whom they had met off FACEBOOK. The girl was 15 years of age, and some random motherfucker decided to add her on facebook posing as a teenager with a profile picture displaying his abs and shit, prancing around on facebook by the name 'Peter Cartwright'. Though, I don't know if they teach the kids over there in the UK about stranger danger, but... wtf? I mean, you're 15 years old... you should pretty much think like a legit teenager by that age. I'm not hating on the poor girl, hell no. I'm just saying, it's kind of hard to sympathise for her at the final hours of her life when she clearly made the decision that it was sooooooo the right thing to do to meet up with a guy you met on the internet and not making sure you meet up with them in a busy public place.

Okay, I know that guy was a full grown, male, serial sex offender. But what was on the authorities' minds when they released him for his previous offences, without thinking of whether he'd strike again? Seriously? Though, I remain unconvinced that it's entirely the guy's fault, because the girl made herself an easy target, but it's still unreasonable for the authorities to think that they wouldn't need to keep their eyes on serial sex offenders. This guy has raped at least two prostitutes under knifepoint, and has been convicted for that shit. OH EM GEE. I'm just ... what the fuck? ARGHARHGHHGHHH. But yeh, like... moral of the story:
  • beware of stranger danger
  • if you need to meet up with people you meet online, go with a friend if you don't want to die
  • make sure the people you meet online are legit
  • most of all, um make some real friends irl? i think that'd be the best solution
Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a total bitch, but the whole thing is seriously so stupid on so many levels. ARGHARGHH Parenting fail. Paedophilia fail. Policing fail. Just. Fail.

KTHXBYE.

Oh btw, RIP Ashleigh Hall... he'll be serving life in prison so don't worry(Y)
