So I'm about a decade late in watching this movie, but then again... I probably wouldn't have had the mental capacity to understand everything in this movie when I was 10, so I guess it's a win. You learn a lot from movies like these... There is too many in abundance of poorly written movies *scoffTWILIGHTscoff* that leave the audience with nothing to think about by the time the credit starts rolling. Well, I guess all except how attractive so and so was. Eww... edward cullen.
Anyways so I actually learnt a bit from I am Sam... I realised that I'm not exactly what you call compassionate. I have trouble with patience sometimes as well. Everything that happened in that movie actually got me thinking. From putting myself in Dakota Fanning's shoes, to hoping one day I'd own a house like Rita except with a faithful, loving husband and we'll see how shit goes with the kids.
There are three solutions to every problem... ACCEPT IT, CHANGE IT, OR LEAVE IT. If you can't accept it, change it. If you can't change it, leave it. Simple as that.
Haha, I'm actually motivated to do something with my life this week after watching that movie......
OR maybe I'm just fkn PMSing and might just end up eating all week.
